Stefanie Tschom & Laszlo Tarkanyi

Stefanie Tschom is an All Star level West Coast Swing dancer, coach, and competition judge based in Berlin. With a background in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and ballroom dancing, she brings a unique blend of styles to her partner dancing.
Since her first contact with West Coast Swing in 2017, she has been fascinated by the unique combination of musicality and communication on the dance floor, especially appreciating the creative freedom to express all kinds of music while having an open dialogue with a dance partner.
She is constantly exploring and discovering new nuances and perspectives of this dance and is inspired by other dance styles on a daily basis. As an avid traveler within Europe, she enjoys sharing the love, passion and playful approach of West Coast Swing with others.

After beginning in ballroom dancing in 2003, having competition success for years in the boogie-woogie scene, László met West Coast Swing in 2008. In West Coast Swing he found what he has been unconsciously seeking, a dance that can be done for almost all genres of music. For him, this dance is the modeling of real life, where you have to obey some easy basic rules, and you can do, create anything, beyond imagination. Nothing is impossible!
László is an enthusiast of teaching the dance to others. He has been teaching weekly regular classes, weekend workshops, private classes and coaching sessions since 2013. In 2016 he graduated as a certified dance instructor, and he is still further educating himself from world class instructors like Robert Royston, Brandi Guild, Chuck Brown, Jordan Frisbee, Kyle Redd and Browly Adjavon.
