Stefanie & Atilla
Stefanie Tschom is an Allstar level West Coast Swing dancer, coach, and competition judge based in Berlin. With a background in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and ballroom dancing, she brings a unique blend of styles to her partner dancing. Since her first contact with West Coast Swing in 2017, she has been fascinated by the unique combination of musicality and communication on the dance floor, especially appreciating the creative freedom to express all kinds of music while having an open dialogue with a dance partner. She is constantly exploring and discovering new nuances and perspectives of this dance and is inspired by other dance styles on a daily basis. As an avid traveler within Europe, she enjoys sharing the love, passion and playful approach of West Coast Swing with others.
Attila began his dance career as a ballroom dancer, teaching Latin and standard dances for many years. After 15 years and numerous championship titles, he retired from competitive ballroom dancing.
He couldn’t stay away from the dance floor for long and discovered WCS in 2013. He quickly became addicted to this dance, captivated by its endless possibilities and freedom. Recognizing the unique aspects of WCS compared to ballroom, he embraced the challenge and reignited his passion for competition, reaching the All-star level in few years.
Currently, Attila teaching both in Hungary and internationally, sharing his love for WCS. For him, dance is an integral part of everyday life.
