- Gratitude discount
We appreciate your support on our first edition in 2025, therefore we want to thank you with this 10 € discount. You will receive an email with the discount code, that will later be matched with your email address.
- Partner event discount
As we try to grow the WCS scene on the Balkans, we want to support each other. We also want to thank those of you that chose to support us all. Therefore everyone that attends both GPS and Westie Joy on the following weekend in Bucharest, Romania will get 10 € discount for each full pass.
We will trust your word during registration, but if for some reason by the time of the event you have not completed both registrations, you will be asked to pay the discounted amount at the door.
- Squad (group) discount
- The group leader is not included in the group count.
- A group is considered to be a minimum of 5 role-balanced couples (leader + follower).
- All group participants must be from the same country.
- All group participants receive a 10 € discount.
- The group discount is only valid for Full Pass owners (excluding free passes and All-Star passes).
- Discount will be calculated at the time of registration, by adding the discount code.
- If the minimum of 10 people is not reached by the time of the event, all participants will be asked to pay the discounted amount at the door.
- After reaching 5 couples, you can add 1 extra follower for each additional couple (keeping the 40-60% ratio -> 40% leaders and 60% followers)
(e.g. A group of 13 people can be 6 leaders and 7 followers, a group of 16 people can be 7 leaders and 9 followers, and so on)

A group leader must still register for the event in order to keep track of the role balance. A group leader may or may not add a partner – either way the registration will be considered with priority.

Registration
Signing up in a couple
- Both partners must be on the same pass type (e.g. both full pass or both party pass).
- Partners must be of opposite roles (1 leader + 1 follower).
- Each partner needs to submit their own registration form.
- In the “Partner’s email” field each of the participant must enter the same email as their partner used for their registration in order for us to match the partners correctly.
Your registration will be processed as soon as both you and your partner submit the registration forms. Until then, your registration will be placed on wait-list, waiting for your partner.
Signing up solo
- Leave the “Partner’s email” field empty.
- You will be on the wait-list until we can role balance your registration. During that time you can still add a partner, by having them sign up, and put your email down as their partner when registering.
- Once we role balance you and your registration is accepted, you can no longer add a partner.
Signing up as switch
We recognize that more and more people dance both roles at WCS events. You may sign up with a switch if you actively dance both roles, and agree to the following:
- If participating in workshops, you agree to take them in the role where we have fewer dancers (most likely leaders).
- During parties you agree to actively ask people as both leader and follower in roughly equal parts.
Note that participants registering as switch do not need to add a partner.
Payment
All accepted registrations are considered pending until a payment is received. Payment is due in 10 days after registration is accepted. After we receive the payment, the ticket is considered confirmed. Should a participant fail to pay for their ticket in due time, the event organizer reserves the right to cancel their ticket. In such a case, the participant who still wants to participate in the event must register again at the price valid at the time of their new registration. A couple registration might be accepted after both partners have paid.
Cancellation
In case of cancellation by the participant, we shall offer a payment refund in the following tiers:
- For cancellation requests received up to and including 14 June 2026 the received payment will be refunded partially – 50% of received payment.
- For cancellation requests received on 15 June 2026 or later, the received payment will not be refunded.
All cancellation requests must be communicated in written form via email and confirmed by the organizer. All costs related to refund process are carried by the participant and are deducted from the refunded amount.
Participants who have purchased a ticket but cannot attend the event may transfer their ticket to another person.
Transfer your pass
Participants who have have purchased a ticket but cannot attend the event, may transfer their ticket to another person. Leaders may only transfer their ticket to another leader. Followers may transfer their ticket to a leader or a follower. Switch dancers may transfer their ticket to a leader or a switch dancer. All ticket transfers must be communicated in written form via email, and confirmed to both parties by the organizer. Free passes are not transferable.
Discounted passes can be transferred following the above rules, but the receiver must pay the difference to the organizers.
All Star passes can be transferred to the same level dancers or to a lower level with paying the difference to the organizers.
Disclaimer
The event organizer reserves the right to cancel the event due to low registrations or force majeure (e.g. fire, storms, epidemic state, and other natural disasters). In such cases, ticket holders will either be refunded 90% of their ticket price or given a voucher – option to transfer their ticket to future event. Other claims against the event organizer are not possible.
Event program is non-binding. Should a teacher cancel for whatever reason, the event organizer reserves the right to find a replacement teacher or omit parts of the program. In case the program changes or parts of the program are not realized (e.g. a teacher is not participating because of illness or cancelled flights etc.), but the event still takes place, no refund will be offered. Event organizer may or may not find alternatives to the omitted program.
